Our ability to identify opportunities and turn great ideas into reality saw takeaway ordering site Eat Now grow from concept to stunning $855m sale as part of the Menulog group in May 2015.

With over 450,000 visits and 8,000 orders coming in each day, we constantly seek ways to develop our systems for the future.

In November 2014, our 25,000m2 warehouse became one of the first in Australia to introduce robotic automated picking.

This innovation allowed us to work smarter and deliver customer orders in record time, especially important over busy seasons like Christmas and Easter. We have an in-stock model with over 95% of inventory sold, owned and housed in our warehouse.

A history of growth

It all started in 2006 with five staff and a small warehouse. After four years building CatchOfTheDay into Australia's leading shopping site we launched Scoopon in April 2010 - quickly becoming a market leader in the coupon and travel space.

Since then we have developed a number of other brands including Eat Now, which was part of an incredible $855m sale in May 2015, while Grocery Run and Mumgo continue to grow our customer base across broader market segments.

The Group is owned by Gabby and Hezi Leibovich, New York based technology investor Tiger Global Investment, Consolidated Press Holdings, employees and a number of other portfolio investors.

The established management team leads a strong group of professionals in buying, marketing, customer service, IT, logistics and design. Our large loyal customer base, effective infrastructure and long term relationship with Australia Post positions the group ideally for future growth.

While CatchOfTheDay is our main platform, Mumgo & Grocery Run grow our presence in other market segments.

We focus on providing quality experiences from proven providers. An integrated shopping section gives subscribers access to a selection of goods from CatchoftheDay on the same platform.
